Conservatories Styles by Thistle

Also sometimes called a Georgian Conservatory, the classic rectangular design of an Edwardian Style Conservatory allows the optimum use of space with a rigid roof system which ensures symmetry of design.

A P-Shaped Conservatory gets its name from the P-Shaped plan incorporating an apexed roof. This design of Conservatory is also sometimes called a Combination Conservatory due to the fact that multiple styles of Conservatory can be combined – such as Victorian and Lean To styles in the example below.

An existing style can also be adapted into different basic layouts, including T-Shape or B-Shape Conservatories.

Lantern Top Roofs offer an elegant, classic look for larger conservatories, consisting of two tiers with different levels separated by a row of small windows.
